12 Days of Christmas

According to the 12 days of Christmas history, commencement of the 12 auspicious days of Christmas is on December 25 and lasts just before the Epiphany falling on January 6. Epiphany is a Christian feast proposed to commemorate the shining forth or disclosure of God to humankind in a soul structure, in the personality of Jesus Christ. The ceremony formerly integrated the birth of Jesus Christ; the visit of the three Magi (Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar) who landed in Bethlehem; and Jesus childhood events to his baptism in Jordan by John the Baptist.

In these traditions, the twelve days begin December 26 and include Epiphany on January 6.
