Christmas which is celebrated in whole world with so much of happiness and bring prosperity, it has so many traditions and rituals which people like to follow to celebrate Christmas in real spirit. The common whole world Christmas tradition which is followed by most of the people is to clean the houses, decorate it with ornaments and put Christmas tree at home and have a gathering at home on Christmas evening.

Christmas is a Christian holiday celebrating the auspicious birth of Jesus Christ, perhaps the most eminent and admired festival of Christians of all across the world. Decorating houses and yards with lights, putting up Christmas trees, giving gifts, and sending greeting cards have become traditions even for many non-Christian Americans.

One of the famous Xmas traditions around the world on Christmas is to wait for Santa Claus and hung stockings on fireplace for Santa to fill it with presents.  As per the French Christmas tradition children keep their shoes near to fireplace and hope Santa come and fill those shoes with small gifts or toys, this is followed by almost every kid in French. According to Italian Christmas tradition people did not exchange before 6th of January and they put Christmas tree at home and decorate it. Mexican Christmas tradition is little different from other countries as this festival last their for 9 days and people dress like Merry and Joseph, travel home to home asking if Mary can stay for night.

Moreover, Christmas celebrations are inadequate without prayers. On the Christmas day, people gather in the Church to offer prayer to the God. Different parts of the countries have different traditions for celebrating Christmas.
