Christmas in Argentina

As like other countries, Christmas in Argentina is also celebrated in the memories of Jesus Christ, on 24th December night, families gather at one place including everyone to celebrate Christmas better known as La Navidad. Christmas in Argentina comes in summer unlike other countries where people welcome this festival in winters, but the celebration is full of levity, children write letters to Santa, having party and dance.

On the day of Christmas Argentina people wish each other by saying Feliz Navidad which means Merry Christmas in Argentina, people start celebrating this festival in advance and almost every house put Christmas tree at home decorate it with flowers, light, gifts and other decorations accessories. On this occasion people have family gathering at home and they have special dinner menu like turkey, pork and wide variety of sweetmeats, before starting their dinner they never forget to thank god for all the good beings of their friends and relatives.

According to Christmas tradition in Argentina people put nativity scenes at home and tries to describe the birth scene of Jesus Christ. They use firework also to celebrate this festival.
